Developer Clashes With Neighbors

As the city council prepares to vote this morning on the redevelopment of the Imperial Yacht Basin, the developer and neighborhood remain at odds over how many residences should be built there.

Grady Pridgen wants a rezoning to allow 750 condominiums at his proposed $350 million residential, retail and commercial project near the Gandy Bridge. The current zoning allows 500 condos.
